As TMH previously reported, the singer was invited to participate on November 17th in an event organized by Red Voz por la Paz (Voice for Peace Network), an international platform for spreading messages of peace. During the event, held at the Kirchner Cultural Centre, Tini was named Ambassador of Peace, receiving the honor from Nobel Peace Prize laureates Rigoberta Menchú Tum and Adolfo Pérez Esquivel.
After the presentation, Tini sang together with Odino Faccia – recognized last year as the Voice for Peace in the world – the song "We Are the Change", whose lyrics were written by Barack Obama, winner of the award in 2009.
At the close of the ceremony, the artist left a message for everyone present: "The day we understand and accept that we are all different, will be the day that peace reigns on earth," she said with tears in her eyes.
The day after the event, the singer shared a photo with her followers on her Instagram account and confessed: "Yesterday was such a special and unique day for me… thank you." The hashtags #EmbajadoraPorLaPaz, #MasAmorPorTiPorMi, and #SomosElCambio were chosen for the post.
